Bonnie Cashin for Coach 'foldover purse' or clutch bag, part of Bonnie's Cashin Carry accessories collection and likely made in the late 1960s. Made from tan leather (which we believe was originally called "Driftwood") with white contrast exterior stitching, this fabulous little bag fastens with a gold metal kiss lock and is unlined inside. An incredibly rare bag in an equally hard to find color! Bonnie Cashin designed pieces that were both practical and stylish, and this bag is a great example of her work! It can be stowed inside of a larger bag or luggage and stores flat! And at 8.5in L x 8.5in H x .5in D, it holds a bunch for its size! Made in the USA. Pre-creed with cloth tag reading "A BONNIE CASHIN DESIGN CASHIN CARRY FOR COACH. Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of age, use and prior wear: color variation, marks and rubs to exterior, with the most obvious shown on one side (see image 7 circled); scratching and color loss to the gold metal hardware.
