Bonnie Cashin for Coach Jumbo Bag Safari Duffle Tote Turnlocks RARE 60s Vintage

Authentic, preowned, vintage and super-rare Bonnie Cashin for Coach Jumbo Bag Safari Tote, likely made in the 60s. Made from a brown-hued tan leather exterior, it features turn lock patch pockets on each side and double handles. The main compartment fastens with a chunky zipper and is lined in Bonnie's signature striped fabric and in each exterior patch pocket. An incredibly rare bag by Bonnie Cashin, made during her time at Coach! Perfect for the collector - or for anyone who enjoys vintage Coach bags! Note that our 4th image shows this same style bag inside Bonnie Cashin's studio! Made in the USA. Approximate measurements: 14inL x 7inH x 8inD with a 6in handle drop. This bag is pre-creed with a 'Bonnie Cashin' metal tag. Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of age, use & prior wear: scratches/spots/patina/lines & color variation to exterior (most notable as shown in our last 2 images). There's some rubs to the handle edge burnishing. The interior shows some spots and wrinkling, see photo 11. *PLEASE NOTE that the handles have more of an olive hue than the bag body & trim (see all images & zoom in on photo 9). We've had some questions about the handles possibly being replaced due to the color difference, but we see no evidence of replacement: the stitching & hardware appears consistent with other 60s Cashin bags in our collection. All in all, this is a fabulous and incredibly rare vintage Cashin bag that still shows nicely despite its cosmetic flaws!
