Bonnie Cashin for Coach Cashin Carry "Scissor Frame" tote bag, likely made in the 60s. Made from black textured leather, it features a kiss lock pocket in front and hinged handles which open the bag. The interior compartment is partially lined in Bonnie's signature striped canvas with a slip pocket inside. Such a fabulous vintage bag! Bonnie's designs were always practical yet stylish and this bag is no exception: it folds flat for storage and can be easily tucked into an overnight bag or suitcase! Made in the USA. Pre creed style with COACH LEATHERWARE A BONNIE CASHIN DESIGN cloth tag and metal BONNIE CASHIN tag. Approximate measurements: 8.5in L x 8in H x 5in D with a 4.2in handle drop. Condition: Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with some signs of age, prior use & wear: light scratches to exterior in places; some color loss/patina to hardware; interior is clean, but is missing it's original striped lining swatch at the bottom (see last image). All in all, this is a chic and super rare vintage bag, designed by the one and only Bonnie Cashin!
