Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Sills mohair wool coat with hood, likely made in the 1960s. Made from a brilliant coral-hued mohair wool, it features an attached hood, Kimono-style sleeves and half moon pockets at each hip. It's trimmed in red leather, fastens with a snap hook and ring closure at the collar and has a chic fringed hem! This piece is unlined, making it perfect as a layering piece - and the color is just fabulous, perfect for for any time you want to add a gorgeous pop to your look! It's lightweight and easy to stow in a suitcase or overnight bag, too! Tagged Sills and Company A Bonnie Cashin Design. Made in the USA. No content or care label, dry clean recommended. Approximate measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: shoulders - 16.5in, bust - 40in, waist - 40in, hips - 42in. sleeves - 20in, shoulder to hem - 38.5in. Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with some signs of age, use and prior wear: darkening/marks to the leather trim; some patina to the snap hook and ring (see last two images for examples), and light piling to the mohair wool in places. All-in-all, a fabulous piece that looks amazing when worn, designed by Bonnie Cashin, the mother of American sportswear!
