Book: Deadley Feasts by Richard Rhodes

Subtitle: The "Prion" Controversy and the Public's Health Non-Fiction. Paperback, bought new in 1998. Still excellent used condition. No wear, no dog-ears, no stains, no marks. This is a fascinating book that my spouse and I have read several times each. Richard Rhodes traces scientists' attempts to understand mad cow and other strange diseases which are now known to be transmitted by ingesting the brain or nervous tissue of infected creatures.
