Book: The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett

Hardback, 2003. Carnegie Medalist. Very good used condition. The book jacket has a slight crease and is faded along the spine. No dog-eared or torn or missing pages. A previous owner wrote a date in the front (see pics), so probably not suitable for a gift. This is from Terry Pratchett's Discworld, the first novel in the Tiffany Aching series. Listed as Young Adult (ages 12-17). The main character is 9 years old but the story is plenty entertaining for adults, particularly for Pratchett fans. The story: "Armed with only a frying pan and her common sense, young witch-to-be Tiffany Aching must defend her home against the monsters of Fairyland. Luckily she has some very unusual help: the local Nac Mac Feegle—aka the Wee Free Men—a clan of fierce, sheep-stealing, sword-wielding, six-inch-high blue men."
