ephemeralx hey love! I saw an article about how you even and posh, and I’m thinking about hitting the road too within the next year. I just have to ask, do you need a permanent address to be able to sell on the road? What about with purchasing? If I wanted to purchase wholesale at all? Just curious! Thank you 😊

rethreadandroam @ephemeralx hello! nice to meet you! some aspects are pretty simple but some are more complicated, depending on how long you travel vs stay in one spot. we are stationary much more than we are traveling. some spots we rent a po box and some we are able to use the address of the Campground to send and receive mail. while on the road I use a return address that is our permanent address back "home" (this is a family residence that we spend several months at a year and is our tax address).

rethreadandroam @ephemeralx no matter where that return address is located you can ship from any usps using that address. I've never had any trouble. now when you're traveling and receiving mail it gets a little more complicated. you will have to stay put for a bit. if you are at a campground that allows you to receive mail there, ship to that address

rethreadandroam if you're not at a campground (boondocking) or one that you cannot receive mail at, you will need to use the general delivery service at the newest post office. it's free to do, but some places will limit how long you're able to use general delivery before they ask for you to rent a po box

ephemeralx @rethreaded hello! sorry for the weird typo in my post haha I was half asleep, I meant travel and posh obviously but you get it. those are all good points, so I’m guessing you have a printer in your rv for shipping labels? Or a dymo? Either way that makes sense, if probably just find the nearest post office. Thank you for all the useful information and it is very nice to meet you too 💜
