It is 2.5"-3.5" wide from center down to where it attaches to the bag. Strap is suede & Black patent leather with knot detailing. The center of the strap down has raised suede trim- reminds me of an iguana with spikes. This very same spike detailing is also around edge of purse. Black satin lining is very clean with no issues or smells the inner side of fold over lining is black leather & has magnetic fold over closure. Single zip pocket at interior wall. Gold tone Metal Limited edition Bottega Plaque states it is 25/50 Limited Edition .925- it does show tarnishing. Note: The strap connects to the inside of the bag and can be removed. It will be unhooked and folded in the bag when shipped. This is a gorgeous preowned and barely used bag. I love the strap style- reminds me of a rock n roll guitar strap. Super cute and fun.
