@myalucy so I am typically a size 38/US8, but in flat shoes I tend to buy 38.5 so that I have a little extra room. I do not like for my heel to be nearly hanging off the back, which is exactly the case here (does not hang off). These are a little too big for size 8. So, I think if you are a true 38.5/US 8.5, they will fit you perfectly. Just to be clear, I have never worn them, only tried them on. If you need more pictures please ask!
