Boulder Opal Sterling Silver Handmade Necklace by Sandy Robinson Jewelry

Notice the beautiful veining in the boulder opal and the twisted rope and fine silver bezel surrounding it. I also incorporated a sterling silver design element above the stone that was formed by pouring molten silver over a can of chickpeas. The chickpeas/garbanzo beans are not encased. The silver is in liquid form and runs down through the chickpeas. The pendant is 1 1/2 inches long. The plated silver chain is 18 inches with a 2 inch extender. It fastens with a lobster claw.
