Is this from a smoke free environment? Is the leather still firm or has it softened?

@salfarmer Smoke free environment. The leather still feels the same to me. I have quite a few Brahmin and I consider them stiff. So not sure what you might consider as softened. This bag was only used 3 or 4 times. I always thought it was just too big for me.
