@puffymonkeyaunt Hi there!! I think these are intended to be more of a fashion boot. After doing some research on the J. Crew website, I found that these boots have high reviews, with many commenting on how comfortable they are. However, I did find a review where one person stated that they wouldn't wear them hiking because they don't believe there's enough ankle support. Hopefully this helps!
