katgod1972 What’s the prescription for each lens?

stephaeby @katgod1972 sorry, I don’t have a copy of the script but the lenses would likely need to be replaced for your rx. They are progressives, different strength in each lense and for far-sightedness.

candydavis1972 Hello, can you possibly list the measurements? As in how many inches the lenses are from top to bottom, or from side to side and of course, the measurement for the front of the frame to end of the arm.. oh and did you have bad issue with distance? (In regard to the rx) ? Thanks so much!!

stephaeby @candydavis1972 hi! The rx is not going to be usable. I’m far-sighted and have different strength in each eye, plus they’re progressive lenses. Measurements: front 3.5cm x6.5cm (each lense) 13cm across front. Arm measures about 10cm to ear curve

candydavis1972 @stephaeby when you say progressive, is the top for distance and the bottom for reading? My distance has gotten worse and I need help reading.. not a lot but I definitely need about a -1.50 for reading. It was suggested I get a progressive for that reason, that’s also another reason I’m asking all the ??’s.. thank you for your patience while we both try to figure this out.

stephaeby @candydavis1972 no problem. Yes, the top is for distance and bottom is for progressive. They are very strong which is why I never wore them. They weren’t the correct rx for me. I wouldn’t recommend using this rx bc the right lens is a bit stronger.

candydavis1972 @stephaeby I truly appreciate your help and honesty with everything. I’d eventually get new lenses in the frame when my insurance is active in just under 2 months but I dont know that I should mess with a progressive that I don’t know 100% isn’t right for me
