Do NOT buy this product! Seller advertised it as “new” but when I received it today the smell was horrible! So I called the manufacturer with product number to find out when it was manufactured and when it expired. It was manufactured in December 2013! 8 years and 2 months ago! They said their products expire after 3 years (12/2016) so seller sold me a product that expired 5 years and 2 months ago! Total misrepresentation and now hassle to return expired product to get refund!

@sivanrhodes My apologies…I never meant to misrepresent the product and will totally refund your money…just give me a minute to work it out with Poshmark…I am just finding out about this…I have never had a problem before and always guarantee my sales…please dont jump to conclusions without asking me first or notifying me…I assumed the product was newer so I apologize…

I didn’t “jump to conclusions.” I called the manufacturer to get the facts - that you purchased a product 8 years and 2 months ago that had a shelf life of 3 years which you advertised as “new” and now say you “assume” was newer. As a result I lost time I can’t get back having to deal with ramifications of your choice to not check shelf life before offering it for sale. To be continued in next comment because I’m out of space….

An apology for me has 5 parts: (1) a factual explanation of what happened on your end - not provided (2) acceptance of responsibility - not felt here because your focus was on my behavior (reaction) instead of yours (3) what you’re already doing to fix this - not provided - you asked for “a minute to work out with posh mark” 7 hours ago (4) your plan so this doesn’t happen again - not provided and (5) asking if there is anything else you can do - not asked. I knew I would be refunded.

Without a factual explanation of the circumstances of why you sold a product 8 years and 2 months after you bought it and how you “assumed” it was “newer” when you knew (or could have easily known by calling manufacturer as I did) that it was purchased 8 years and 2 months ago, your apology doesn’t feel authentic or genuine or heartfelt. Just being authentic and direct because I believe we are all here to grow and help each other grow in love and understanding.
