__anastasia_ @feeneysfinest thanks for your interest! I bought this in 2008, so I guess it is not old enough for vintage. Worn once. I have just cleaned some tarnish (which is common to appear on brass and silver over time) and dare say necklace looks as good as new

__anastasia_ @feeneysfinest I think it’s handmade. The extender has “You & I” embossing on the plate, but maybe just the extender part was pre-purchased from a hardware supplier. This necklace looks very unique, have never seen anything similar. It was a spontaneous buy - I was stunned by workmanship, but later realized it was just not quite my style and did not work out with rest of my wardrobe. Spent years in jewelry box

__anastasia_ @feeneysfinest yes, it’s a sturdy brass piece, which is reasonably heavy. Statement necklaces like this usually have quite some weight to them. Take time to think about it, and FYI offers are considered :) this beautiful necklace has been wanting to see the world and decorate someone’s outfit rather just sit on the dresser
