This film managed to present youngster Shirley Temple in a pleasing light and she was on her way to cinema stardom. James Dunn and Jane Darwell co-star. And Shirley plays a determined orphan. Temple gets to sing "On the Good Ship Lollipop" and sparkles aplenty.
