Brighton Necklace, Vintage Necklace

This darling bow pendant is taken from a vintage Brighton chain belt. (Picture enclosed) I couldn't resist making it into a necklace. I hung it on a 24" vintage Brighton rolo chain. It closes with a lobster clasp and has a 2" extender. Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening. ✨✨✨CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To keep your jewelry shiny and beautiful, please avoid harsh detergents, Swimming pool, seawater and perfume & lotion. Please bear in mind that this is silver plate and may occasionally need to be buffed with a soft cloth to keep its shine. Keeping it wrapped in a cloth bag will also protect from tarnishing. Always put your jewelry on last and take it off first.
