The round carving depicts four women and eight falcon-headed spirits holding up the ‘sky disc’, inside which is represented the signs of the zodiac. Some of these are familiar to us, such as Taurus’ bull, whereas others are more reminiscent of ancient Egypt. The relief is now housed at the Musée du Louvre in Paris, France."
