Broken China Holland Ring from a Vintage Tile Fragment Church Steeple Artisanal

Handcrafted Ring From a Vintage Holland Scene Ceramic Tile Repurposed Soldered I made this ring from pieces of a vintage ceramic tile with a Holland Scene. I used lead-free solder and a sterling silver wire to create the ring part and to ‘cage’ and attach the broken tile. I used a black patina to give it a vintage look. The soft soldering technique is called “Tiffany Method Solder” and it is NOT affiliated with the Tiffany brand! The Solder material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green! It is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver, it’s safe and lead free! I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
