Bronson MFG repro 1950s officer chinos khaki full cut mens 30x27 classic

These chinos are a veritable classic, reproduced faithfully and meticulously by the menswear brand Bronson MFG. Based off the trousers worn by US Army officers in World War 2 era, these are the template that inspired the khakis we know and love today. Bronson has precisely remade this vintage classic in a robust cotton twill, weighing in at 14oz, with fiercely strong construction. There is durably thick stitching on the belt loops and other stress points, such as the side stitch on the leg. The hem is foldable and includes the notable white stitching which is prevalent throughout the trouser. A couple details which are somewhat foreign to today’s trends include the button fly and coin pocket. Otherwise there are recognizable features like the side slant pockets and rear jetted pockets with buttons. A point of interest is that the fabric is very, very sturdy, barely broken in at all. It wrinkles easily, but looks beautiful with a proper press. As the cotton breaks in it will become even more comfortable, and thus this garment could easily last decades if cared for properly. Be careful when washing, because using a hot washing setting will absolutely shrink the chinos, and I know this from experience.
