A very rare find! Excellent condition, Vintage Brooks Brothers Men’s Wool Robe / Dressing Gown (1960s label). The ultimate Mid Century Gentleman’s Loungewear. Perfect for those cold winters, whether at home for the holidays or a mountaintop ski cabin. The Ideal Christmas Gift: classic, elegant and high quality. FEATURES: + Regal purple (grape) color - note that it was tricky to capture and close ups are most accurate (e.g., photo #4) + Fine 100% wool fabric + Bright red piping (trim) + Shawl collar / lapel + Turned cuffs + Patch pocket on either side as well as on chest (left side when on) + Monogram: GFS + Matching belt (two belt loops) SIZE: Does not have size tag. Sized like a men’s L - XL, but fit is somewhat adjustable. Check measurements below and feel free to ask questions. Width (laid flat, measured across): Chest: About 24” (pit to pit - but somewhat adjustable based on how loosely or tightly it’s wrapped) Shoulders: 21” (seam to seam) Length: 53” (back of collar to hem) Sleeves (with folded cuff): 25” from shoulder seam, 18.5”inseam CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. I’ve examined it very closely, and can find only one flaw: two spots of wear on the piping / trim (in the lower front area and on one pocket, as shown in the 6th photo).
