For sale a rare Brooks Brothers Chronograph Watch affectionately referred to as the silver dial "Sky Reflector" Ref. 08517 with Hodinkee Paul Newman Bund. Designed by Brooks Brothers. The oldest men's label in the United States and the clothier of generations of dignitaries and diplomats. The brand worn by the student as well as the teacher, the artist and the architect, the business man and the bohemian the president and the purveyor. Many men have had the Brooks Brothers label on their back or on their wrist as they celebrated some of life's greatest achievements and this piece embodies 200 years of American Style. This watch is named the "Sky Reflector" based on the geometric design of the dial that closely resembles the "Sky Reflector Net" designed by famed Architect James Carpenter, and installed as a visual integrated artwork atop the atrium in the Fulton Center Transit station found in New York City's lower Manhattan. Watch is in good used condition. Small scratches and usual expected wear for a piece of this age. All chronograph functions work as intended. New battery installed.
