These shoes came to me as a hand me down, still NWT. But I suspect the giver had them in storage for years, because the material has cracked or chipped on the outside of the shoe. (See close-up pictures.) The basic shoe structure, however, is perfect and sturdy just like originally designed! This is a great way to invest in a pair of “first steps” shoes for your baby to practice walking in, but not care if they get dirty or messed or scraped up dragging a bit as babies do. (Like in a walker in the driveway, for example! :) ) The design is super cute, like a pair of loafers. 👞 Shoe itself measures right at 5 inches long, recommended for age 12-18 months!
