Retro modernist earrings with emeralds designed by Bruno Guidi.
Gorgeous three dimensional pieces of wearable art, created in Brazil by the designer and goldsmith Bruno Guidi, back in the 1970. This pair of earrings has been crafted as an sculpture with the Brazilian concretism parameters in mind. They were crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with textured and polished finishes.
The design of these earrings is very architectural and artistic. The artist creates some openings of geometric shapes, which coincide with the elements that stand out and support the gems. Which creates an illusion in three dimensions of voids and solids.
Fitted with posts (Removables) for pierced ears and comfortable hinged backs for fastening clip.
Emeralds: Mount in four-prongs settings, with an arrangement of 6 emerald faceted cut of different sizes, carved from Brazilian natural green emeralds, with 4.45 carats.
