Bryce Higbee Pressed Glass Bowl with Scalloped Serrated Edges

Round glass bowl scalloped sawtooth edges. Beautiful clear glass made by Bryce Higbee Glass Company in the Gala Hawaiian Lei pattern. A bumble bee is embossed on the bottom interior. Circa early 1915s One chip on the underside of the lip, a few bubbles can be seen in the glass. Measures roughly 8” diameter by 3” high. Logo history: This little mark stands for J.B. Higbee & Co., a Pennsylvania based glass company. J.B. Higbee, a former salesman from Bryce Brothers Glass, went into business with Edwin Bryce in 1879, starting Bryce, Higbee & Co. This company had a fairly prosperous go, but sometime around 1907, J.B. Higbee branched out on his own, creating J.B. Higbee & Co.
