Buckle Jewelry, Turquoise Jewelry, Brighton Necklace

This unique one of a kind western buckle necklace is made with a vintage Brighton Belt Buckle. I have added a beautiful sterling silver and Abalone / Turquoise Bird charm to finish the piece. It is hung on a 22" vintage Brighton rolo chain with a lobster clasp. The buckle measures 1 7/8" wide and 2" tall. Brighton's buckles, jewelry and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening. ✨✨✨CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To keep your jewelry shiny and beautiful, please avoid harsh detergents, Swimming pool, seawater and perfume & lotion. Please bear in mind that this buckle is silver plate and the bird charm is sterling silver and may occasionally need to be buffed with a soft cloth to keep its shine. Keeping it wrapped in a cloth bag will also protect from tarnishing. Always put your jewelry on last and take it off first.
