Bundle 3 for 50% off 1950s Handmade Cotton Skirt

Beautifully made and finished blue cotton skirt with a zigzag pattern in the weave. Big pleats created by tucks at the waistband, and fastens at the side with a metal zipper and cross-over button flap. Fabric isn't truly sheer, but you can see a silhouette underneath if backlit. At the time it would have been worn with a slip, and heavy contrasting tights would look great now. When it's lying flat it measures 12" across waist and 26" long. In excellent condition. Just hand washed and line-dried, but it still has the "vintage smell" - kind of musty, but not mothballs. Was stored in a closed space for decades, so this may abate as it's out in the world again.
