sterlinglife3 @bhappy No Hun, this piece is not solid Sterling! If it were, just in Silver weight it would be way over $600.00. It is Sterling Electroplated ( dipped in electronically positive Sterling silver, for a harder, longer lasting Coat). Also, it has a Rhodium Plating on top of the Silver plate. That's to keep it from any tarnishing!!! Same process that Brighton does to all of their Silver Jewelry!!!!
