you firm on price? this shirt retailed for $295 brand new and it's used. thx in advance.

@g_mask I’ve never seen any variation of their Burberry Check design on a men’s shirt retail for $295 - can you send a link please? Also, feel free to make an offer

@frankdepinto I been wearing burberry since 2014. in fact, my whole closet/wardrobe is burberry, literally. they just recently raised all their prices to almost double, I believe when Ricardo ticci came on board. long sleeve exploded check button ups like this one retailed for $295.

@frankdepinto the shortleeve counterpart was $275 and the short sleeve polos with the signature check placket by the buttons were $175. the hoodies with the check inside the hood were also $295. your shirt is burberry "brit", which they don't sell anymore. everything is burberry "london" now. I never like London, all my burberry is "brit" with a few scattered "prorsum" (runway) pieces.

@g_mask Is the retail price from 3/5/7/10 years ago actually relevant (since it’s no longer sold)? Said differently, this variation can’t be purchased for $295 from Burberry today, so you answered that question for us. Sure, it can be a reference point - but not much more than that. Also, is $295 3/5/7/10 years equivalent to $295 today? No, and you answered that question for us as well with reference to Burberry raising their prices (along with every other provider of goods in our economy).
frankdepinto
@g_mask Your logic is equivalent to saying that the “market” price of a pair of Jordan sneakers that aren’t in stores anymore which retailed for $200 in 2015 should automatically be less than $200 today. Does that make any sense? No, it doesn’t.
frankdepinto
@g_mask In the case of this shirt, maybe if we were transacting 3/5/7/10 years ago (whenever this shirt was being sold by Burberry at retail for $295) then your logic would be sensible.

@frankdepinto bad comparison, sir. jordans, even when worn, often tend to appreciate in value in today's market, whereas burberry shirts do not. jordans are more like collectibles, commodities or investments at this point bc of how they consistently appreciate in value over time. the same cannot be said for burberry shirts, unfortunately. in used condition, this shirt is worth no more than $200, but good luck with the sale.
frankdepinto
@g_mask where do you see that this is in “used” condition? It’s in perfect condition and has been tried on but not worn.
Maybe you should purchase it through the link you sent. Oh wait, that’s not even the same color variation…and oh wait, the Lookastic link redirects you to Neiman Marcus where no price is listed and that different variation is unavailable anyway 😂

@frankdepinto bro, calm down. you too emotional all in your feelings. feminine energy all over the damn place. 😂 guaranteed this shirt won't sell for $295. pretty obvious you're new to burberry and you don't know the market. stick with polo, bro.
