@brooks41 - hi, they're both medium and not an 8 but I wore both as a size six when I was skiing regularly and had some room. hope that helps, let me know if there are more my measurements you'd like

like had to use the velcro internal adjustment belt thing sort of extra room in the Burton pair, and belts in general with these. They are both too big for a size six but I was a university student so I didn't go buy smaller pairs.
