C.1882 Heppell White Milk Opal Pressed Glass Fish Jug

A good, crisply moulded example of W.H. Heppell's popular fish design wares in opal white; the straighter pouring lip indicating a cream jug rather than a milk jug (see "English Pressed Glass", Raymond Slack, Barrie & Jenkins 1987, page 104). Condition: no damage, in pristine condition. Registration lozenge for 24 November 1882. 5¼in/13.3cm high.
