CARLISLE SIZE 8 BLACK AND WHITE HOUNDSTOOTH 2 PIECE JACKET AND SKIRT SET VINTAGE

This vintage Carlisle 2 piece suit set is a timeless classic. It is size 8 fully lined jacket and skirt. The black and soft white houndstooth print is soft and has the feel of wool but is actually 100% silk. The solid black lining is acetate. The jacket has a notched collar and two faux pockets and two useable pockets all of which have beautiful black and gold decorative buttons as does the three button down front. The lapels are a contrasting solid black and the pocket flap reverse sides are black as well. The jacket has a darted midsection for a flattering fit. The shoulders are padded adding to the lovely silhouette. The skirt has subtle soft pleats for a comfort fit and to eliminate climbing up of the fabric. The rear zipper has a button and hook closure and the decorative black and gold buttons are found on the back slit. The jacket measures 19" pit to pit and 26" shoulder to hemline. The skirt measures 15" flat at the waist and 21" waist band to hemline. The suit is in excellent condition and is without flaw. This career suit is a timeless closet staple to pair with a nice pump and lovely blouse, shirt or camisole to create a different vibe with each look.
