I bought these for myself but just not for me. UK size 5.5 is like a US women’s 8 (that is what I wear). True to size. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Military style boot with straight toe in Black Horween Shell Cordovan. Finished on a Silver rubber sole in Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining.This shoe, like all the other Carmina shoes, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869. The boot is assembled on the Oscar last, which is known for being rounded at the tip and having a low instep and normal fitting. OSCAR Oscar is sturdy and classic, with a subtly rounded toe and wide at the toe area. This last pairs well with casual models with a traditional touch, and it works perfectly on shoes produced with thick leather and rubber soles. It is one of the lasts that works best for Horween Shell Cordovan shoes and ankle boots. Although it has little presence for the time being, this last will have a great future due to its great fit.
