cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth As far as your skin goes the most important thing is washing and moisturizing daily. Before I just throw some products your way I just need to ask you a few general questions. When you say only in the t-zone does that mean you are wiping the oil off by noon or by 5 p.m. daily? Do you wash your face morning and night? Are you moisturizing daily?

cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth okay here is what's going on... Your face is extremely dry actually and screaming for hydration. A lot of people think because they're oily a moisturizer is just going to add more oil but in actuality it's producing more oil because it needs hydration. It's freaking out...

cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth Additionally by not washing your face even once a day, at night preferably, your pores are so clogged nothing could get in to hydrate. A good exfoliator 3 times a week will help as well to get off the dead skin that is clogging them. This will also reduce the size of your pores

cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth otc is fine. Not sure how old you are but loreal is a great brand and alba (in natural food sections). Cleanser, exfiater, oilfree moisturizer. You can anti aging serums and pore minimizing serums before applying moisturizer. CLEAN FACE AND MOISTURE is the key to ALL skin problems

cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth Alba makes a pinapple enzyme exfoliator thats wonderful. Use 4x per week for 2 weeks then bump down to 3. Wash mor ing and night. Make sure it is a face wash that cleans and removes makeup. Whatever kind of moisturizer you choose just make sure it doesn't have petroleum or glycerin as one of the top 5 - 6 ingredients

cupcakesmcgee You're so welcome! I love skincare I'm just not into being a pushy sales person. Look for buzzwords like hyaluronic acid, peptides, collagen...vitamin c is always great, but alot of products have very little stability of the key ingredients in their formula and packaging. I will say if you move into luxury skincare the quality of packaging and ingredients is better. If you're going to spend the money buy serum or eye or treatment product, not face wash and daily moisturizer.

cupcakesmcgee When you get a routine going (dont take on too much at once) mix in a retinol product. At 38 its the best prevention you can buy. Use at night ONLY and make sure to use SPF the next day. It helps your skin regenerate new cells faster...PLEASE let me know if you have any questions. Dont believe the hype of advertising cuz you're paying for it in the price of the product. Check out QVC for luxury items too...good pricing!!! and of course, poshmark :-)

cupcakesmcgee @couturelizabeth KS has an antibacterial gel moisturizer that you can mix with a daily moisturizer to create a low cost treatment creme. Its about $32...grab some loreal oil free moisturizer and mix a pump of each together
