Karl Lagerfeld International fame came into play with The House of Chanel circa (1982–2000). Lagerfeld is credited with making great use of Chanel's "CC" logo during the 1980s, and are the most sought after Chanel Bags by collectors, fashionistas alike. This bag has been in my possession towards the late 80’s early 90’s. The most popular vintage styles include the Diana, vanity case, camera bag, Kelly, Mini Dumas backpack, and of course, the “Classic Flap”. These bags are not only coveted, but can be fantastic investment pieces. Caviar pebbled leather, 24k Gold Double C (Karl’s signature mark), 12 stitches per quilt. In great condition, authenticity card exists, dust bag not so. Serial number is worn, but typically the authenticity card & serial number can be the same. Please note: Image says “gold plate”. That is an error. Here is info relevant to same: Chanel began transitioning from solid gold to gold-plated hardware in the 2000s, and officially stopped using real gold in 2008.
