CHANEL Silver Monogram CC Holographic Lucite Hair Clip

A Chanel signature piece; the hologram, silver CC monogrammed, lucite / resin hair clip. A rare and vintage piece made in the Spring of 1997. Great year am I right? (You can see when a Chanel piece was made by reading the stamp. “P” for “prima” which in Latin means “first” or for the season of Spring, and 1997 is taken from the “97”). Made in France. I collect these but I won’t wear it due to its value. I’d love for it to go to a good home with someone who will wear it and display its beauty! The clip holds a lot of hair. I wouldn’t over fill the clip with my hair, personally, just because I have thick hair and it is over 20 years old, but it does hold a half up do just fine with room to spare. The clip mechanism itself works like new. This is my favorite luxury piece. Price reflects rarity. Original MSRP is unknown. Offers welcome. Trades are a no on this unless I’ve traded with you before.
