CHRISTIAN DIOR vintage pillbox hat in green tweed with black velvet accents, lined with what appears to be a green silk moire. Interior band is approximately 21 inches. Looks to be from 50s era. Such a chic one-of-a-kind piece, would look great with a trench or leather coat. I had this hat professionally cleaned and restored at a specialty cleaners in Manhattan, which is reflected in price. Very good vintage condition. Great opportunity to own a piece of Dior history without breaking the bank.

ilenemorales Are those black bits of felt original to the design or were they added by the cleaners as part of the restoration? What exactly was restored? Thanks!

sequencevintage @ilenemorales The black velvet pieces are original to hat. Some had loosened from hat with age and were sewn firmly to body of hat in restoration. Hat was also cleaned as part of restoration.

sequencevintage @lansmommy4life I would say it’s about a medium, hard to estimate exactly as a vintage piece. I definitely suggest measuring the circumference you would need with a tape measure — hat band circumference is 21 inches.
