CINCINNATI RED JOE MORGAN THROWBACK MLB JERSEY NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTENNIAL 1976

Mitchell and Ness. Very clean condition. This wonderful throwback jersey for MLB Hall of Famer, Joe Morgan. This jersey is a copy of the National League's Centennial year, 1976. It was also at the pinnacle of Joe Morgan's career when he had 8 straight years in the All-Star Game, won the NL MVP award, won the Gold Glove and of course played and won World Series. His #8 has been retired by the Cincinnati Reds. If you look at others on Ebay from the high dollar collectible companies, you would pay over $250 for this jersey---and it's no longer available new. This particular shirt is a size XL as you can see from the pictures. It is made of 100% polyester as was the fabric of the day. It is styled as a v-neck pull-over in the road gray color. The letters and numbers are all are sewn or appliqued onto the shirt. The neck has a striped poly-knit band in red and white. The sleeves have the same poly-knit band material with 1" red and 1" white. This applique has the National League logo for the centennial year celebration with the years 1876-1976 as well as the stylized 1800's baseball player.
