Wore twice and got many compliments from fashionable friends (and strangers!). With a belt they fit the way I like on me (I'm between 26 and 27), and there are two sets of belt loops (super great--one regular-sized set of loops and one under that and low for thin belt). I like waist of my jeans to be tight but turns out I don't have the patience for buckling and unbuckling belts. FYI, I'm 5'9 with long torso and length on me works cuffed or uncuffed with sneakers or sandals.
