The coat is made of thick, heavy black wool and is 1/2 lined in thick black satin. The coat has a double-breasted design with brass eagle buttons and the eagle clutching an anchor. The back of the buttons is stamped as well.. The coat has deep side pockets, and there is a slit in the side seam so you can reach inside your pants pockets. The coat also has slits where you can bring a belt from the inside to the outside of the coat. The coat has an attached half belt in the back. The coat collar can be buttoned up to the neck on cold days, and the kick pleat in the back can also be buttoned closed. This coat is in excellent vintage condition.
