Classic vintage British Tan COACH satchel made in New York City in the mid to late 1970’s. Registration No. 255-7245. Stamped label inside reads: “ This Coach bag is made out of a completely natural glove tanned cowhide. The scars, scratches, veins and wrinkles are natural markings characteristic of full grain leather. Made in New York City.” (See detail photo). Satchel has had one owner and was used sparingly. There is a pen mark near where the tag hangs in first photo (and without the tag in the way in the 2nd),a scuff mark under that same handle, and a smaller ink mark between handles same side. Again, please look at detailed photos as I tried to show any marks. The darker brown mark between the handles on the other side is, I believe, a natural mark in the leather and has always been there. Interior is raw suede and is in good condition with a few marks but nothing major. Overall, this bag is in great condition. One interior pocket, Talon zipper at top with leather pull. 13 1/2” W x 9 1/2” H x 3 1/2” D at bottom. Top of handle to bag is 4”. Can be used as a hand bag or small briefcase.
