The bag won't hold a 16" laptop zipped, but those smaller and lighter--plus whatever? And great color too! I sell a lot of these bags and it's hard to find one in red. *** As for the condition, the bag is structurally sound, but you can find some wear on the corners and 2 pen marks in the back toward the bottom. There also creasing mainly along one side, although it likely occurred during the tanning process. Also, the corners are worn, but not the worst. The interior is clean, but the pocket has some spots. One last thing--the interior zipper pull has been replaced and is now silver, rather than brass. Ready for toting!
