At the time, this Sheridan line was one of Coach's most expensive bags. Each bag used Italian leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant. Both the pebbled textured leather and brushed pearlized brass hardware have an antiqued quality meant to probably lend a classic "old world" elegance that you see in the European luxury bag market. Although the bag is in good condition, there are some light scratches on the leather, more visible on the bottom and along the piping. The corners also show some stretching. The interior is clean.
