Comfy waistband is made w/a stretch hemp/organic cotton blend, and can be worn folded or straight, allowing you to adjust where skirt hits on your waist/hips&length of skirt. Hem is left raw for added texture (it will not fray, seams are secure). Sizing:This skirt is meant to be fitted at the waist&hips. *Please order based on your HIP measurement.* Please note--because this is made with a knit fabric, theres wiggle room in terms of sizing. A size 13-14 pant, could wear large in this skirt generally, but also a medium. The waistband is made out of a stretch fabric, so it has lots of give. Body of skirt, though it may look&feel a bit snug at first, will relax after about 10-20 minutes of wear. Medium measures about 19" from top of waistband to hem. Depending on height, this skirt will fall somewhere between just above the knee and mid thigh. For reference, model is 5'3" MED - BUST 37-38, WAIST 30-31, HIP 39-40 Measure at fullest part of bust/hips&narrowest part of waist.
