The leather is buttery soft and meant to look distressed. The softness of the leather also means you don’t have to worry about the painful breaking-in process that comes with other Dr. Martens boots. Tall combat boot silhouette, that be worn tall or folded over with back buckle to show off floral lining. They come with thick, ribbon laces (as pictured) but can also be worn with regular, long boot laces (not included). Round toe. 12-eyelet lace-up. Please note for accurate sizing: The boots are a size US 6/ UK 4, but Dr. Marten’s sizing runs a bit different than standard sizes, as well as varies between styles within the brand. So, if you don’t know what your size is in these specific style of Docs, I would say the best way to guarantee the best fit, would be to find and try this style on in different sizes at a store. But, if that’s not possible, I can say that in moat shoes I wear a 7 1/2, and while my feet can fir into them, there is no extra room for a genuinely comfortable fit; as my big toes are pressed right up against the front of the boots. So, I’d say these boots would be best for someone who wears no larger than a size 7,.However, for someone sized on the smaller side, H bc( W6 - 6 1/2) wearing them with thicker socks and/or with memory-foam insoles; will give you a perfect, customizable fit
