This little bee, as I found out after I originally posted, is 14K gold. I thought it was very well made, but likely 14 GF. It is 14K. The enameling is amazing, with shimmer in places-like opal fire. I am informed, although I live so remotely that it would be difficult for me to get it appraised. It has no hallmark that I could find. google lens was not helpful, Google image not helpful. I am going to cross post, and continue to look for any indication of its maker. I have increased the price dramatically, but it is fairly heavy, and just for scrap gold is worth a lot now. this little bee is amazing. The pin has an unusual safety clasp used by JHPeckham and Krementz at the turn of the century (1900s), but has no hallmark. The clip, I am informed, was to put it in a ladies watch.
