Ca 1923 The Gold Bug by Edgar Allan Poe. Little Luxart Library. Robert K. Haas, Inc., Publishers (formerly Little Leather Library Corp). Undated The Little Leather Library is a series of miniature, abridged books of famous speeches and works by classic literary authors. In 1922, Robert K. Haas bought out the Little Leather Library Company, renaming it to the Little Luxart Company. The shiny red leatherette books have Little Luxart Company embossed on the back cover. This approximately 100 year old miniature book is in overall fair condition for its age: • Cover: detached as is common with these little books with wear/curling at edges and corners • Spine: heavy wear at ends (missing sections, see pictures) • Pages: good condition, bottom corners slightly creased • Measures approximately 4" x 3 1/8" Please see all pictures as well to help determine condition (zoom in) and ask questions if needed.
