flnana86 @barbara_loska It is fully lined, 100% Nylon, but it is not a heavy winter coat. It does not say if it is waterproof, but it is at the very least water resistant. I believe it probably is waterproof, but I can't guarantee it. If you were to wear this with layers, it would help keep you pretty warm. I hope that helps. barbara_loska Thank you, winter out on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state is cold ,rainy wet and long....its a pretty jacket in my favorite colors, just don't think it is up to the task.

flnana86 @barbara_loska we have family in Steilacoom. Very pretty up there! This would be great for you on cool, windy, wet days, but yes, you'd need something heavier during the really cold winter days. Maybe you need this one for those days and a heavy coat for colder weather. Have a nice weekend!
