wars1965 @dyehill60 thank u and yes / I figured it out. I still have app $10,000 in checks / never deposited. Didn’t understand why they were more than purchase price and wanted a “shipper fee”. I called a few places where the checks were issued from and while the check was legitimate it was out of sequence. They called and surprise the check was fake. I understand now to stay on the site. Thank u so much!

wars1965 @dyehill60 can I ask u a question? So I’m new and am trying to figure it out. For example, this ocean dress is beyond stunning. I wore it once to a charity event in Chicago w Bill Rancic. He won the Apprentice 1st. No one has made an offer? I wouldn’t sell if it fit. Meanwhile I’ve sold 2 designer bags. What r they looking for? I have so many high end items. It’s overwhelming to know the focus. I could list 1,000 items. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

dyehill60 @wars1965 that’s a good question. First of all, list the brand name if the item in your listing title so it will catch people’s eyes if that is a brand they are familiar with or like. Needless to say, people are always looking for a deal. Eventually they come along as long as your prices are reasonable. I sell my items cheap because I REALLY need to clean out the closet

dyehill60 Seems like I take out 1 and buy 2. Never ending cycle. It just really depends on how fast you’d like to get the items out. There are people who are a “boutique” and sell new items. I don’t buy from them. Defeats my purpose. I always keep in mind, how much I “actually” get from a consignment” shop. I don’t know if I helped at all.... but, it’s been nice talking to you. 😊

I did make a big mistake - sold a Louis V for 70% off - had 5 offers and sold. Realized other listings were double. O well....

dyehill60 @wars1965 sorry to hear that. Try to go under “shop”/type what you are trying to sell, see if you find a similar/exact item, then price accordingly... try less so they will consider you first. I usually write the brand and a little bit as to what it is. Ex: Cache Blue Green sequins formal dress. If someone types in blue green formal dress yours will pop up with others even though they didn’t input Cache.

dyehill60 List measurements too. I know in my case, I get frustrated if Measurements aren’t listed because I have to ask for them and hope they answer back. 1/2 the time they don’t. If your measurements are up the person could make a decision, either way, up front. Look at one of my clothing listings to see what I mean as how to list to please buyers better. I wish you much lunch... there’s always a loss but, I certainly hope you don’t take a big hit like you already have. 🌹
