California Pottery Rare Vintage Cocker Spaniel Dog Jane Callender Antique Dog

This sweet lil pup is  a California Pottery dog, made by Jane Callender, who operated a pottery near Los Angeles during the 1940’s and 1950’s. She was well known for her canine figurines, many of which had her signature clay extruded or “spaghetti” ears and paws. This seated Springer Spaniel puppy has distinctive “brush stroke” fur lines that make her look quite realistic. She also has just a touch of brown in her eyes, that soften them to give her that gentle Springer Spaniel face. Measuring 3 1/2″ tall x 3″ long x 1 3/4″ wide, she is in excellent condition.
